Car Rental And Self Drive Car Hire Terms and Conditions

Self Drive Kenya car rental terms and conditions is a contract made between Self drive Kenya and our clients. Both parties will have to sign after abiding by what the agreement requires of them, after which the rental then takes the vehicle with him or her.

Please read the following notice as it is your contract with  Self drive Kenya and clearly lays out what you have agreed with us.

Payments for the rental car must be made upon arrival or by either cash or bank transfer to our USD account in Kampala Uganda, or Visa credit card 7 days before the start of the rental with the extra bank Sur charge (4%).

Payments can be made in Kenya Shillings, or USD  Or Euros  as per the operators standard exchange rate. Dollars Notes accepted by the Operator starts from 2009 print notes and above.

Rates are subject to change if any changes are made after the date of the reservation confirmation.

Cross-border rentals are permitted and and an extra charge will be attached for COMESA Payments for vehicle to crossover to the other countries.

All Self Drive Kenya 4×4 car rental vehicles are rented with/without tank of fuel depending on the deal agreed during the enquiry procession. The vehicle returned must be returned with the same amount of fuel that it had before the renter took it.

Cancellations of a reservation must be done via info@selfdrive.com , 7 days prior to the rental day, or call the reservations department.

Long term contracts are payable before the month based on the invoice.

The Hirer acknowledges that she/he will be liable at the end of the hire period to pay the Operator any applicable additional charges that may raise in the time of the rental. i.e charges for extra days used, late return contrary to the time agreed with operator’s agent, damage to or repair of the Vehicle (subject to the other terms of this Agreement) like traffic
